About us...

WIND CHECK POELMANN and the team have the know-how from more than 15 years of development, planning, installation and dismantling of wind measurement masts.

It all started with Thales Instruments GmbH, which did real pioneering work in the field of wind measuring masts and wind measurements at the beginning of 1997.

In 2010, this area of wind measuring masts and wind measurements was transferred to airwerk GmbH. airwerk GmbH has further refined the well-founded knowledge and know-how and developed new wind measurement masts in steel lattice construction, which were even more efficient and higher. The site managers and a large part of the workforce also transferred from Thales Instruments GmbH to airwerk GmbH at the time.

At the end of 2019 / beginning of 2020, the entire wind measurement mast division of airwerk GmbH was transferred to WIND CHECK POELMANN as an asset deal.

The assembly manager at WIND CHECK POELMANN, Mr. Andreas Maliszewski, can draw on his many years of experience as an assembly manager at Thales Instruments GmbH and as an assembly manager at airwerk GmbH.

The site manager, qualified civil engineer Ioannis Agathangelou, can also make perfect use of his many years of experience in the field of wind measurement masts.

There are also other employees who as a whole have worldwide experience and have erected wind measuring masts even at the most difficult locations.

WIND CHECK POELMANN erects complete wind measurement masts including the entire installation from the data logger to the measuring instrument. We work closely with research institutes and partners for measurements, evaluations, forecasts and calibration.
